Why Youma's Beauty began...

Youma, the founder of Youma's Beauty, experienced severe hair damage due to constant heat and chemical application to achieve the societal standard of beautiful hair: straight hair. Hair Bloom Oil was created in 2016 to restore her damaged hair to healthy, long, thick hair and is the signature hair growth oil launching the Youma's Beauty brand. 

Later on as a former Professional Fashion Model Youma continuously experienced Hairstylists on set who did not have the skills to style Natural Hair. While filming her documentary "The Natural Hair Struggle In Fashion", She learned Natural Hair is not taught in Beauty Schools so, Youma's Natural Hair Workshop was launched. A natural hair sensitivity and technical training Workshop where Hairstylists finally have the opportunity to learn natural hair from natural hair experts to expand their careers while combating natural hair discrimination.
